Monet Royal is native of St. Louis, Missouri. She earned her Bachelor of Music degree in Viola Performance at Southeast Missouri State University. She has also earned a Master’s degree in Viola Performance at Oklahoma State University in 2019. While at OSU, Monet was a Patti Johnson Wilson Foundation fellow and was allowed the opportunity to perform with the Tulsa Symphony. Monet is a founding member of the Blckbird String Ensemble. She has performed in Italy, Canada, and multiple cities throughout the United States. When Ms. Royal is not performing or teaching, she loves spending time with her son, Miles.
